My sewing/guest room

As a doll maker, I need to get the most use out of space so my room has double duty sewing/guest room. I place a piece  of plywood board (2 feet x 4 feet x 3/4 inches thick) on my bed for cutting. You can even place a cutting mat on top and cut away, although your plywood board has to be at least 3/4 inch thick, so it won't give when pushing pressure on it. Then when guest come I put the board behind the door and back to a guest room.   I also recycled some old windows and made some window shelves on my wall.  Then I made boxes with thread spools for pulls to place on top for pattern storage. As a sewer you have to utilize every amount of space you can.
